16 AGAIN!

Yes! That's me driving!!! 2 years ago (almost to the day) I was told by a neuroligist that I couldn't drive because I was having seizures. After several medications that didn't help and two doctors, we were fed up and didn't know what to do. We had a referral to a new doctor and I had my first visit with her on Thursday. After explaining to her my situation and answering all of her questions, Greg asked about me driving. She simply said "You can drive. You don't loose conciousness." I couldn't believe it! 2 years for nothing!!!
I am still having the symptoms and I'm hoping for answers and/or something to get rid of them. This new doctor seems to be the most thorough, interested and knowledgeable doctor I have seen so far. I feel so much better about the whole situation since I can drive. It will be a life-changing event. I'm going to have to get used to driving Evan to preschool, going grocery shopping on my own, volunteering in Caleb's class, etc.
THANK YOU to all of you who have helped me in the past....driving me around all over the place, watching my kids while someone else drove me, or whatever. You're great and I hope that you have been blessed for doing so.

Yeah, that is such good news! Feeling independant again? Life is crazy, medical opinions are crazy sometimes too....sorry it kept you from driving for so long and hopefully the new doc will be more help with everything :)

But hey, what will we do without Evan on preschool days?

Hip Hip Hooray! That is wonderful! I bet you are so excited. I'm glad to see your eyes are on the road and not the camera...that means you've still got it!
