Happy 5th Birthday Evan!

Evan's birthday was on the 23rd. He has been asking us since August about when it was going to be his b-day. I realize that his b-day and Christmas are so close together and that it's hard for him to wait ALL year for them to come, but it was driving me crazy. (I can't do the half-birthday thing because it's not his real b-day.) Finally the day came...
He was so excited. He jumped out of bed and exclaimed, "It's my birthday!" That day he was a good sport, because he had to go to the post office and Maceys with me, and to the neighbors house while I went to a doctors appointment. But I think that he was satisfied later with cake, presents, and going to Carl's Jr for dinner to get a kids meal and play.
Evan is my most cuddly one and is the one that is the first to try to make his brothers feel better when they're sad. He is a deep thinker. He asks questions or says things that I have a hard time answering or explaining. He WILL be a great debater and/or possibly a lawyer someday because he can and will argue his point until he's blue in the face.
We love you Evan! We're so happy to have you.

These pics are courtesy of Evan with his new kid-tough camera he got for his b-day.

Caleb is holding one of Evan's gifts that's a bug vacuum. It sucks up bugs to be able to examin them.
In less than a day, we downloaded 175 pics that the boys took on his camera! There were pics of the pantry door, the truck, the floor, the furnace, their beds, etc.

Happy Birthday Evan! Come home from Grandma's house so we can play; Kaden misses you!

And we've got some serious sledding hills to attend to...

Happy Birthday Evan! That bug vacuum is so very cool! I'm glad he likes his camera. I've been thinking about getting Simon one. You'll have to let me know how it goes!

Happy birthday to Evan! I love your new family pictures. Your boys look so cute!
We're having fun with the four over here. :) The adjustment hasn't been bad at all really. Tyler and Jacob are old enough to do more on their own and even help Josiah if I'm feeding the baby etc, so that's a big part of it. He's starting to smile more and that's always fun. I'm trying to do better about posting. My family would be thrilled if I posted even half as often as you do.

Happy new year to you guys!
Sarah

No, Bailey has not lost that stinkin' tooth! I wish someone would just pop her one (on accident of course!)It looks like we are taking a trip to the dentist. I'm glad Caleb lost his!
