Fire Station

Evan's preschool had a field trip to the fire station a couple of weeks ago. Evan was pretty disappointed compared to last years field trip to the fire station. Last year (so I hear) they were greeted by all of the firemen, climbed into the firetruck and ambulance, heard the sirens, saw the lights, they could dress in the fire gear, saw the firemen with their masks on, and were able to take home a plastic fireman hat.
This year, the kids had to be quiet because a meeting was going on at the same time, only heard from one fireman, walked around the fire station to see where the firemen sleep, saw the kitchen, they saw the firetruck and ambulance, were able to sit in the drivers seat of the fire truck (only because we asked if they could), and watched ONE of their classmates dress into a fire suit. All in all they still were happy to be there.

Here he is with his buddies Brandon and Kaden.

This was actually two classes combined.

Caleb and Nate got to go too. Caleb happened to be off track in school.

Oh, that's too bad. I would be disappointed too. I bet it was fun to take all your boys and be able to go with him this year!

How are you doing anyway? It seems like it's been a long time. Did you anything fun while Caleb was off track?

That does look like fun...even if it wasn't as good as last year. I miss talking to you! It seems like I never see you. We need to get together and let our kids play!
