Caleb was baptized on May 1, 2010. What an exciting, happy and crazy day! Caleb was so excited for it to finally be his turn. After watching several of his cousins and friends at their baptisms, he was ready for it to be his day. He didn't seem nervous or embarrassed at all. As parents, we were very happy that he wanted and knew that it was the right choice for him to be baptized.
Caleb's cousin Jacob (my brother John's son) was also baptized that day. The two of them are only a month apart in age and were also blessed together as babies. We figured for our sake and the rest of the family, that we might as well have their baptisms together. We had a lot of family and friends there to support the boys. It was great! I was very nervous and stressed to fit that many people in our house for the luncheon, but the weather cleared up just in time and it worked out just fine. We counted the number of people and we had 69 people at our house for the luncheon, and more than that at the baptism. It was wonderful to have the support!
Greg and Caleb before they left for the baptism. Very handsome. Greg and I gave Caleb a set of scriptures, a small hymn book, (both with his name on them) and a case to carry them in. He has loved them! He has read in his scriptures every night since.
It's such a blessing to have Greg as a husband. He is a great example to our boys. I'm grateful that he holds the priesthood and that he was able to baptize Caleb.
Caleb the ladies man. He invited 3 of his closest friends and all of them are girls. Raleigh, Kiernan and Sierra. One of them, Kiernan, has been his "girlfriend" since kindergarten. What a lucky guy to have these cute girls as his friends.
The two cousins that were baptized, Caleb and Jacob.
Our little family of 5 1/2.
We are so proud of you Caleb and we know that you made the right choice! We love you!
