The title says it all! Blake was busy the month of October and we loved every minute of it.
I nurse Blake, but the doctor insisted that we bottle feed him every once in while to get him used to it. It is nice to go out for a date night and not have to worry about him refusing to drink from a bottle. (Even though we've only left him a couple of times.) This is the first time he held the bottle on his own.
He was SO ready to eat real food! He would always watch our every move when we were eating and we would let him have a taste here and there. So when his 4 month doctor appointment came along, I asked the doctor if we could start. This was his first taste of rice cereal.
We had scheduled an appointment to have family pictures taken and had to cut all the boy's hair. I decided that it was time to cut Blake's too. He lost most of his hair on the sides, but the top was still growing. I just took a little off the top.
First family pictures taken. Love this individual pic of him.
First time on a hay ride to the pumpkin patch! It was a beautiful day! We went with Greg's family. Blake was squinting the whole time because the sun was so bright. I loved it.
We had to retire the swing and get out the jumper! This was his first time in it. To this day, it is his most favorite thing to do. Please just ignore the messy pantry in the background...
First time carving pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. Obviously, he didn't do the carving. I think that Caleb and Evan carved his. Such a cute picture. I wish that the lighting were better.
First costume and Halloween! This was actually the day before at Greg's work. My creative sister, Carol, made this for her boys years ago and luckily she passed it on to me. It's even cuter when they're crawling.

Love that costume! What a cute baby you've got. So fun to see your blog!
So fun. I love all the firsts. It is hard for me to see the kids grow up so fast. But at the same time very exciting at what new things they will experience.
