Each year we do what we can to make sure that Evan has a fun BIRTHDAY rather than any other day that's two days before Christmas. No Christmas wrapping paper, Christmas shopping or Christmas parties.
Can you tell what movie we went to? To tell you the truth, we had to talk Evan into choosing this movie because he thought that it was just another "princess movie" and they're all about boy stuff. They laughed and stayed entertained throughout the entire movie, BUT would never admit that they liked it. Grandma Stone went with us too and took this picture.
Evan loves chips and queso dip. He loves it so much that it meant that we were able to go to Cafe Rio for his birthday dinner...my absolute favorite...instead of the usual play place at a yucky fast food restaurant. This was his "birthday cake" this year. He doesn't really like sweets, so it was perfect for him.
I'm so grateful to have Evan as my son. I'm convinced that one day he will be on the debate team and/or a great lawyer. He can argue his point until he's blue in the face, even if there is evidence otherwise. He really hates getting caught doing something wrong. I know that I've said it before, but he is an emotional little guy. If I never have a girl, he will make up for it. He's always cracking jokes and continually makes Greg and I laugh. He's also a sleep walker which makes for great entertainment. He's smart and does awesome in school. We love you Evan and are so happy to have you as our son!

I love your hat in the family picture. Too cute. Gideon totally likes girl movies. Poor kid. I guess that is what you get when you have 2 younger sisters and then a little brother.
I love this post!! Your kids are awesome! Funny and smart :)
Thanks ladies! Heather, do you have a blog? What's the address?
