California Vacation: Day 6 & 7

Another beach day! This time at Huntington Beach. It was warmer and more family friendly. It was also Caleb's 9th birthday!

If you can see them in this picture...as soon as we got there, the boys took to the water. They were more brave than I expected.

I was wet up to my waste while playing in the water with the boys.

Grandma Kitchen with Blake sleeping in the shade.

Grandma enjoying a walk on the beach.

CHEESE!

Evan in front of his and Nate's sand castle that Greg helped them make.

Nate next to his well-decorated sand castle tower.

Caleb and Braden's sand castle.

Grandma walking Blake. He would take off running towards the water. When it would recede, he would chase after it.

One of my all time favorite pictures.

We packed up and checked out of our hotel that morning, went to the beach and then headed to Vegas for the night. We knew that we needed to drive in two trips on the way home since we knew that there wasn't anything for the boys to look forward to. The boys were worn out and they slept most of the way to Vegas. The next morning, Day 7, the boys swam in the hotel pool for a while and then the rest of the day was spent driving home. It was a LONG day and the end of our vacation.
