This was Caleb's first derby of any kind since he started Cub Scouts. It was really fun to do a space derby as opposed to the usual pinewood derby. I am SO HAPPY to have Greg that is an Eagle scout and that he can help my boys with all this scout stuff. I'm clueless. Something tells me that with 4 boys, I will know A LOT MORE about scouts when it's all said and done.
The goal wasn't to get the farthest in this derby, but to get it as close as you could to the 250 mark in the middle. If you went past the 250, the points counted back down. He hit it right on the mark this time!
