On Christmas Eve, Greg took the boys sledding/snow boarding at a hill in our neighborhood. I stayed home. I heard Greg come home not too soon after they left. Nate had crashed and had blood all over Greg and himself. He had landed on his face on the hard snow on the sledding trail. His lip was swollen for a couple days. Poor guy.
That evening we had a yummy dinner and the boys got to open one present. They figured it out this year and knew that it was going to be pajamas. They all loved their pajamas and still ask to wear them every night.
We were lame this year and didn't even take ANY pictures on Christmas morning! We did get the camcorder out, but didn't take any still pictures. They had all asked Santa for a Playstation 3, with daddy's encouragement. They knew that they wouldn't get any other toys (other than stocking stuffers) if they got a Playstation 3, and they still wanted it badly. They were so excited to find it on Christmas morning. Although, I'm not sure if they were as excited as Greg was.
That afternoon we packed up for a Christmas party with Greg's family. We stayed at my parents house that evening and had my family Christmas party the next afternoon.
That evening we had a party with some of our (Greg's) friends from high school. We try to get together once or twice a year. Doug and Nikki graciously let us bombard their home each time. Thanks guys! A lot of our kids are around the same ages and they all have a great time together too.
Greg helped with Landon, so Aaron could have a turn participating in the "band".
That evening we made the hour long trip back home really late. The boys crashed and were out fast after a long weekend of fun with family and friends.
